Global Studies Regents Exam is Wednesday June 13th!
St. John's University (Queens) and Adelphi University (Long Island) each offer a prep class for the cost of $140. These classes are NOT affiliated with TYWLS and the payment for the class is made by you. The website has some good information for anyone looking additional study help.

What kinds of questions should I expect on the test?
The exam is 3 hours long and split into 4 parts. You may complete the parts in any order you choose.
Part 1: 50 multiple choice questions
Part 2: 1 Thematic Essay
Part 3A: 10-13 Data Based Questions (DBQs). Answers to these questions will come from a wide variety of documents (maps, charts, graphs, political cartoons, images, or text) that are given to you on the exam. All the documents revolve around a common topic.
Part 3B: 1 DBQ Essay. You will construct an essay based on the documents, questions, and answers from part 3A

This is great glossary that is arranged by topic. This makes it alot more user friendly in connecting topics to vocabulary. Having a strong vocabulary is key to your success on the multiple choice section of the Regent's exam.

This site has a really nice glossary of Global History terms. Having a strong vocabulary is the key to success on the multiple choice section of the Regent's exam. It is arranged alphabetically.

This is another glossary but for you audio learners it pronounces the terms for you as well.
